This section provides data on school facilities, including access and use of technology.

Decent, safe, and secure facilities are essential to successful educational programs. Below are findings from components of the Education Longitudinal Study of 2002 (ELS:2002) focusing on conditions of school facilities, including disrepair, cleanliness, safety, and security measures. Sampled schools are based on 10th-grade respondents selected as part of the ELS:2002; estimates are for schools that include a 10th grade.

School Capacity
