Major Finding

  • Fourth-graders who reported watching television/videos 6 hours or more on a school day scored lower, on average, than fourth-graders who reported watching between 1 hour or less and 5 hours. The apparent difference between students who reported watching no television/videos and those who watched 6 hours or more was not statistically significant.
