History of State Participation, 1994-1998: Nonpublic Schools

NAEP assessed nonpublic (private) schools in the state assessments in 1994, 1996, and 1998 only. There are no plans to assess nonpublic schools at the state level in the future; however, NAEP results for nonpublic schools at the national level are available in publications and in the NAEP Data Tool beginning in 1990, and NAEP plans to continue to report national nonpublic results in the future.
