The electronic codebook (ECB) documentation published with the Baccalaureate and Beyond 1997 followup data (B&B:94/97) contained a few errors. Please read the detailed explanation.

Licensed users of restricted survey data sets can obtain SAS or SPSS files containing new derived variables for DAS applications. To download ECB applications, select a dataset from the pull-down menu above or go to download ECB applications page. Descriptions of the datasets are provided on that page.

To obtain data for variables created since the release of the Electronic Code Book for restricted data users, submit a License amendment request using the NCES Electronic Application System. You should include the following information in your request for additional restricted-use data:

1. A list of desired variables
2. Request for SAS or SPSS data format

After your request has been approved by NCES, the data file will be sent to you.
