  • Data Governance Process:
    • Automated management of the review and approval process for data requests.
    • Documentation of business rules.
    • Defining data elements .
    • Determining data usage by the sandbox and other features.
    • Determining data availability.
  • Automate Management of the Approval Process: FLDOE proposes to replace its current data request management system (e-mail and hard copy) with a Web-based automated application that will accelerate FLDOE's ability to review and approve data requests.

  • Replacement of the Facilities system.
  • Integration of facility and cost information into the Education Data Warehouse (EDW) for both historical (stable) data and current (volatile) data through use of an Operational Data Store.
  • Deployment to analysts and policy makers through a web-base business intelligence (BI) environment.
  • Publication and distribution of a guidebook outlining design conventions to be considered when establishing integrated finance, facilities, and student information systems.
