- Data Governance Process:
- Automated management of the review and approval process for data requests.
- Documentation of business rules.
- Defining data elements .
- Determining data usage by the sandbox and other features.
- Determining data availability.
- Automate Management of the Approval Process: FLDOE proposes to replace its current data request management system (e-mail and hard copy) with a Web-based automated application that will accelerate FLDOE's ability to review and approve data requests.
- Metadata Application: similar to an electronic data dictionary for the integrated systems.
- Sandbox to be a restricted access Web-based environment in which an approved requestor is provided time-limited access through assigned security protocols that include pathways and passwords.
- Set up a Research Advisory Council.
- Develop a Web-based portal consolidating access to these tools into one location for the user.

- Publication and distribution of a guidebook outlining design conventions to be considered when establishing integrated finance, facilities, and student information systems.
